Adopt-A-Stop

Get Involved

Keep Your Community Clean and Shine a Spotlight on Your Organization!

Looking for a way to give back to your community and promote your organization at the same time? RideKC’s Adopt-A-Stop program, which launched in Spring 2023, is a low-commitment, but impactful way to keep our bus stops litter-free.

What is Adopt-A-Stop?

Adopt-A-Stop invites community organizations and businesses to team up with the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority to reduce litter and keep bus stops looking their best. It’s a small commitment that makes a big difference!

Who’s Leading the Way?

Ruby Jean's Juicery was the first business to join the program! They’ve adopted the stop at 31st & Troost, right near their location at 3000 Troost. Since then, over 50 businesses and organizations have joined the Adopt-A-Stop Program. See a list of participating organizations below:

  • Commit to cleaning your stop at least once a week.

What You Get:

Every business or organization that adopts a stop will receive a recognition sign at the bus stop with your name and logo, showing the community your commitment to keeping Kansas City beautiful.
